On 23 November 2016 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Umed Davlatzod and the Ambassador of People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Majibur Rahman Bhuyan. 

On 18 November 2016 under the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan in the conference hall of the hotel "Tajikistan" was held a consultative workshop, which was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and agencies.

On 11 November 2016 in the National Library of Tajikistan was held the international Business-forum on economy and investment called "The Pearl of the Silk Road."
