Metting of Nematullo Hikmatullozoda with delegation of Chinese businessmen

Today at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan a meeting was held between Minister Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and a delegation of Chinese businessmen headed by Hu Sin - manager of trade issues at China Machinery Industry Construction Group Inc. (further company).

The main purpose of the meeting was the implementation of paragraph 32 of December 29, 2017, №AP-984 and paragraph 11 of January 2, 2019, №AP-1146 of the Action Plan of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the implementation of the tasks included in the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan "On main areas domestic and foreign policy of the country ", as well as paragraph 33 of the protocol commission of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 19, 2018, №2k / 84-24.

It is expected that the company will promote the textile complex of enterprises “Sino Tojikiston Kulob Textile Industry Park”, which is located on the territory of the Kulob FEZ in attracting foreign direct investment in two stages for processing cotton fiber in the first stage financing amount will be 130 million dollars, in the second stage financing amount will be 170 million dollars. A total of 5,500 jobs will be created, and about 35,000 tons of cotton fiber will be processed annually.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness for further fruitful cooperation.
