Preparation of the Sughd region, its cities and districts for autumn and winter 2023-2024

On December 15, 2023, a meeting of the Republican Headquarters was held to implement the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 28, 2023, No. 125 “On the timely preparation of sectors of the economy and social sphere of the republic for uninterrupted and effective activities in the autumn-winter period 2023-2024,” in which the preparation of the Sughd region, its cities and districts for winter was considered.

The meeting was held under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali with the participation of representatives of line ministries and departments-members of the republican headquarters and the leadership of the executive body of state power of the Sughd region, its cities and districts took part virtually.

In order to study the actual state of implementation of this decision, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a Working Group was created from representatives of the relevant line ministries and departments, a working trip was made to the cities and districts of the Sughd region, including institutions in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, transport, industrial enterprises, housing and communal services, housing and communal services, electrical networks, etc. were trained and submitted a corresponding report to the government of the republic during the fall and winter of 2023-2024.

During the meeting, the leadership of the executive body of state power of the Sughd region, its cities and districts presented reports on preparations for wintering; during the meeting, comments were made on the existing shortcomings and problems in each of the cities and districts of the region in connection with the financing of the purchase and storage of flammable materials , procurement of food and anti-slip materials, preparation of energy facilities and other issues.

Following the meeting, the head of the Republican Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali, gave specific instructions to the relevant ministries and departments and headquarters of the executive authorities of the Sughd region, its cities and districts in connection with ensuring the implementation of the plan for storing necessary materials and timely preparation of economic sectors and social sphere of the region for uninterrupted and efficient activities in the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024.
