Holding a meeting of the interdepartmental headquarters for coordinating the implementation of macroeconomic policy and preventing the impact of potential risks on the national economy

On April 26, 2024, in order to fulfill the instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, in the direction of reducing the impact of potential risks on the national economy, a meeting of the interdepartmental headquarters for coordinating the implementation of macroeconomic policy and preventing the impact of potential risks on the national economy was held under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvahid.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Vosidien F. S., Deputy Minister of Transport Saidmurodzoda Sh., Deputy Minister of Education and Science Safarzoda D., Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee Malikzoda N., Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management Khursheda Kadir and representatives of other ministries and departments.

At the beginning of the meeting, Solekhzoda A. A. He noted that in the policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the regulation of labor relations, the development of the labor market and ensuring employment of the population occupies a central place, and in order to implement it, especially in the field of migration, ensuring state management of the migration process, socio-legal protection of migrants and members of their families, institutional development and effective use of migration in the social sphere A Strategy for regulating migration processes in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040 has been adopted, within the framework of which a number of specific measures are envisaged.

It was also stressed that in order to solve the problems of employment of the population, a number of state strategies and programs have been adopted and are in effect to promote employment, such as the "state strategy for the development of the labor market of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2020", the Concept for the development of productive employment in the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040, the medium-term program for the development of productive employment in the Republic Tajikistan for 2023-2027 and other sectoral programs.

Within the framework of this meeting, a report was heard by Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment Davlatzoda Kiyomiddin and a representative of the National Bank of Tajikistan.

The speakers presented reports and proposals on the impact of potential risks on the national economy, the transformation of migrant workers and the timely solution of social problems of the population.

At the end of the meeting, following the consideration of the above issue, appropriate decisions were made at the headquarters meeting.
