On March 4 2021, an agro-industrial complex was opened in Jayhun district of Khatlon region. The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade – Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon, Deputy UNDP resident representative in Tajikistan – Christopher Politis and other representatives of foreign organizations.

Today, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade hosted a solemn event dedicated to Mother's Day with the participation of the administration, employees of the central office and subordinate institutions. The event with a congratulatory speech was opened by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, expressing that the proclamation of Mother's Day in our country with the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity- Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon is a clear evidence of high status of women in our society.
