The overall condition of economic ties and the forecast for development of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries were discussed on 6 January 2017 at the meeting between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Khikmatullozoda and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Victor Nikityuk.

On 5 January 2017 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Minister was held a meeting between the Minister, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and the Ambassador of France to the Republic of Tajikistan, Ms. Yasmine Gouedard.

5 января текущего года в  Министерстве экономического развития и торговли Республики Таджикистан было проведено мероприятие с участием руководства и сотрудников центрального аппарата Министерства, посвященное Посланию Основоположника мира и национального единства – Лидера нации, Президента Республики Таджикистан, уважаемого Эмомали Рахмона Маджлиси Оли Республики Таджикистан от 22 декабря 2016 года.
