On 8 November 2016 in Dushanbe was held a meeting of the Steering Committee of the United Nations Framework Programme (UNDAF) result groups. This meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies, as well as the UN agencies in Tajikistan.

On 3 November 2016 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a solemn event dedicated to the 22-th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, which was attended by the management and staff of the central apparatus of the Ministry.

At the beginning of the event Mrs. Gulru Dzhabborzoda – the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade delivered an opening speech. In particular, it was stated that the Constitution of independent Tajikistan is a momentous document, which has made a significant contribution to the development of the country.

Moreover, during the event reports were delivered by the employees of the Legal maintenance Department – O. Alidodov, D. Chalaya and B. Gulruzov. In their reports they praised the role of the Constitution in the development of the country’s economic and social sphere. In order to develop bilateral relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Peoples Republic of China on 14 October 2016 in Dushanbe was held 8-th session of the Joint Tajik-Chinese Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The Tajik delegation was headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, while the Chinese delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Commerce the Peoples Republic of China, Mr. Fang Aiqing.
