Visit of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade to Panj district of Khatlon region to participate in the celebration of the International Holiday Nowruz in 2021
In connection with the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, a working meeting was held by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, to celebrate the International Holiday Nowruz and to get acquainted with the social and economic situation in Panj district on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On March 20, Zavqizodа Z.A. opened a number of holiday facilities on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the construction of a bakery and a confectionery, a modern greenhouse for agricultural production and a drinking water supply, additional classrooms in educational institutions, a polyclinic, a sport ground and much more.
It should be noted that the capacity of the enterprise for the production of bread and confectionery at the first stage is 1,250 pieces of bread per day, provides 10,000 pupils of educational institutions in the district with this kind of product and has provided 10 local residents with jobs.
With the commissioning of two drinking water lines, 4,500 inhabitants of Panj and Otchapar villages of Jamoati Ozodagon were provided with drinking water.
Most of these facilities have been built and put into operation by residents of the area, generous people and entrepreneurs of the district.
In this connection, the Ministry, in cooperation with the National Fund of Social Investment of Tajikistan and the Microfinance Fund «Refinancing Fund» has provided classrooms with 284 seats of double desks and chairs for students, 50 half-clothed chairs, 37 single tables for teachers, 25 classroom boards, 24 drawers of books and visual aids and much more.
Of a total of 210 planned holiday facilities in Panj district, constructions and repairs have been completed on 176 sites, or 84 percent of them, while work is under way on the remaining 34 of them.
