Meeting of Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states on foreign economic and trade activities

On October 14, 2021, a regular meeting of the ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on foreign economic and trade activities took place in the format of a videoconference.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali took part in the meeting, exchanging opinions with his colleagues on the current situation and prospects for further development of multilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation in the SCO space.

Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali also noted that for 9 months of 2021, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Tajikistan with the SCO countries formed more than 59% of the total trade turnover of the country, and a number of priority areas of cooperation within the framework of the SCO activities were proposed.
