Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Hungary

On October 20, 2021, on the threshold of the first session of the Joint Tajik-Hungarian Commission for Economic Cooperation scheduled for October 21, 2021 in Dushanbe, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Hungary Peter Szijjarto.

Zavqizoda Z. A. at the beginning of the meeting noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, pays special attention to the expansion and development of cooperation with the Republic of Hungary.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the signing of the Protocol of the first session of the Joint Tajik-Hungarian Commission for Economic Cooperation, the creation of joint enterprises in free economic zones for the production of textile products, processing of agricultural and pharmaceutical products.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation and make effective use of existing opportunities.
