Press conference at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

Today at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011 No. AP-1729 “On the plan for organizing and holding press conferences in ministries, departments, organizations and institutions, executive bodies of state power in GBAO, regions, cities Dushanbe and cities and districts of republican subordination ”a press conference was held on the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the ministry in 2022.

The press conference was chaired by the leadership of the ministry with a wide participation of representatives of domestic and foreign media (more than 45 representatives).

At the beginning of the press conference, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, the respected Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, presented a detailed overview of the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the ministry in 2022. At the same time, a press release was presented to media representatives in Tajik and Russian.

During the press conference, the leadership of the ministry answered questions from media representatives on various issues of the country's economic and social situation, including the functioning of free economic zones, the impact on the national economy of possible risks associated with the global and regional crises, as well as the export of various types of agricultural and industrial products produced in the country, production, processing and export of aluminum, etc.
