17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on economic cooperation
On April 24-25, 2023, the 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan on economic cooperation was held in the city of Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Usmonali, which included Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir, Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management Kodirzoda Saadi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Rukhshona Nasriddinzoda, as well as representatives of state bodies and business circles of the country.
During the meeting, broad issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan in the areas of trade and economy, agriculture, industry, transport and construction, energy, healthcare, environment, disaster management and digitization were discussed.
Also, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission of Countries, visited the free economic zones of Kazakhstan and got acquainted with the experience of this side.
As a result of the meeting, the Protocol of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission was signed.
