The meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar

On May 5, 2023, in an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sultan ibn Saad al-Mureikhi, within the framework of which sides discussed the expansion and further development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Zavkizoda Z. A. noted that because of the far-sighted policy of the leaders of the two countries, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon and the Emir of the State of Qatar, respected Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al-Soni, relations between the two countries have reached a high level.

At the meeting, was proposed to implement priority projects in the national economy using existing bilateral capacities in the Republic of Tajikistan with the attraction of investments from the State of Qatar.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
