Press conference at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

August 10, 2023 at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011, No. AP-1729 “On the plan for organizing and holding press conferences in ministries and departments, organizations and institutions, executive bodies of state power in GBAO , regions, the city of Dushanbe, cities and districts of republican subordination ”a press conference was held on the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in the first half of 2023.

The press conference was held with wide participation of employees of internal and external media (57 people) under the chairmanship of the leadership of the Ministry.

At the beginning of the meeting, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid, presented a detailed report in the form of a presentation with the results of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the activities of the ministry in January-June 2023. At the same time, a press release was presented to the media in Tajik and Russian.

During a press conference, the leadership and heads of structural divisions of the central office of the ministry answered questions from media correspondents on various issues of the country's socio-economic situation, including the operation of free economic zones, preventing the impact of potential risks on the national economy, exporting various types of agricultural and industrial products produced in the country, processing and export of domestic raw materials, development of the digital economy, green economy, etc.
