The expansion of bilateral cooperation took place between the Ministers of Economy and Trade of Tajikistan and Qatar

During the fourth meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Qatar on economic, trade, scientific and technical cooperation, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, met with the Minister of Trade and Industry of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Soni.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral relations in the field of investment, economy, trade and industry, and the Head of the Department Zavqizoda Z. A. proposed specific investment projects.

The parties agreed that in order to fulfill the instructions of the leaders of both countries, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Soni and the minutes of the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission, they will take the necessary measures to implement specific measures related to the implementation of priority projects of the Republic Tajikistan.
