Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the delegation of the city of Koshgar of the People's Republic of China

  

On March 7, 2025, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nuriddinzoda Ahliddin Nuriddin and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Group, Director of the Department of Industry and Information of the city of Koshgar Zhang Yunsuo.

During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the development of strategic cooperation between Tajikistan and China and discussed the expansion of economic and trade ties.

During the conversation, Nuriddinzoda A.N. noted that thanks to the wise policy and high political will of the leaders of both countries - the Founder of Peace and National Unity, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, the strategic cooperation of our countries has reached a qualitatively new level.

During the meeting, the prospects for expanding cooperation in such areas as industry, energy and transport infrastructure were also discussed. Taking into account the experience of the city of Koshgar in developing free economic zones and processing natural resources, the need to develop joint projects was emphasized.

In this context, the issue of creating joint ventures for processing mineral resources, developing cooperation in the energy sector, including the use of renewable energy sources, as well as expanding logistics capabilities and developing transport infrastructure was considered.

At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and agreed that specific measures would be taken for the practical implementation of the proposed initiatives.
