Meeting of Umed Davlatzod with Rajendra Singh

On 13 October 2016, in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting between the Deputy Minister Umed Davlatzod and the delegation from the World Bank headed by Rajendra Singh.

During the meeting were discussed the issues related to the CASA Digital project (former CARFON Project). One the main objective of this project is to represent Tajikistan as a telecommunication center of the region. In addition, the project correlates with one of the three strategic objectives of the Republic of Tajikistan – to come out of the communication deadlock.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence that cooperation between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the World Bank will continue to develop fruitfully.
