The Fifth Conference on interregional cooperation
On 1 December 2016 in Dushanbe was held the Fifth Conference on interregional cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation. The conference was attended by a wide range of representatives from relevant ministries, agencies and the private sector.
At the beginning of the plenary session, opening remarks were made by the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Saidrahmon Nazrizoda and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexander Cybulsky.
Then, according to the agenda of the conference, were held round table discussions on the following topics: “Development of Russian-Tajik cooperation in the sphere of agriculture”, “State and legal regulation of labor migration processes between Russia and Tajikistan”, “Prospects and development of cooperation in the sphere of industry and industry-transport infrastructure”. The representatives from relevant ministries and agencies, as well as the private sector actively participated in these discussions.
During the round table discussions, the sides considered important issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of the conference was signed a relevant decision.
