Consideration of mutual cooperation with UNDP

On 25 April 2017 at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade was held a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Nematullo Khikmatullozoda and the United Nations Resident Coordinator/Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme in Tajikistan, Ms. Pratibha Mehta. 

Nematullo Khikmatullozoda expressed satisfaction with the current level of cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the UN structural units, in particular UNDP.

During the meeting, were considered various issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UNDP, in particular, preparations for joint seminars on the Sustainable Development Goals, joint session of the UNDAF Steering Committee, as well as monitoring of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to expand bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and UNDP
