The Ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and India.

On June 16-17, 2017, In India, Delhi was held the ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and India on trade-economic, scientific and technical cooperation  at which official delegations from both countries took part.

It should be noted that the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan at this meeting was headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade  Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, and the delegation of India by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mrs. Rita Theotia. The meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and India on trade-economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held in an mutual understanding atmosphere.

During the meeting, the sides discussed economic cooperation in the field of energy and water resources, industry and agriculture, education and science, transport and banking, health and geology.

Also during the meeting, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan presented an investment and entrepreneurial climate for foreign companies and perspectives of implantation economic relations and bilateral cooperation in priority areas between Tajikistan and India.
