Meeting of the Minister with the UN FAO Regional Coordinator for Central Asia

Today, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting between Minister Negmatullo Hikmatullozoda and the Sub regional Coordinator of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UN FAO) for Central Asia, Mr. Viorel Gutsu.

 During the meeting, the sides discussed the strategy of food security, the chain of agricultural production, climate change and its impact on the development of the agricultural sector, greenhouses, attracting investments in the agricultural sector, creating jobs, as well as other equally important issues.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to develop further cooperation.
