On February 20, 2024, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan between Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and the new Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Tajikistan, Mr. Kang Seung-hoon.

On February 19, 2025, a roundtable was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid. The meeting included the participation of the Permanent Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Imaï Seizu, representatives from various ministries and agencies, as well as development partners within the framework of the "One Village – One Product" (OVOP) movement project in Tajikistan.

On February 18, 2025, a meeting of the Council for Expanding the Middle Class Population was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, chaired by First Deputy Minister Solehzada Ashurboy Abdovohid. The meeting was attended by the head of the World Bank's Permanent Representation, Ozan Sevimli, representatives from relevant ministries and agencies, as well as World Bank experts.
