Meeting of the Minister of economic development and trade with the World Bank delegation

Today, at the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting of the Minister, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda with the world Bank delegation headed by Mr. Oleg Petrov and Mrs. Zarrina Abdulalieva.

The purpose of the visit of the World Bank delegation was to exchange views on the implementation of the Digital CASA Tajikistan project, which is aimed at the development of regional trade and integration, increasing the country's competitiveness on the world stage through the introduction of digital foundations.

Also during the meeting the sides discussed the medium-term development program of the Republic of Tajikistan for the years 2021-2025, and the involvement of the consultants of the World Bank for its development, the concept of a digital economy and on its basis preparation of the specialists on international level of the national program for the digital economy of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop cooperation in these areas.
