Meeting of the Minister with the representatives of the World Bank

Today, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Zavqidzoda Zavqid Amin met with the representatives of the World Bank Mr. Jan-Peter Olters, Oleg Petrov (Digital Development Specialist), Michael Bunchuk (Digital Development Specialist) and others.

The purpose of the visit of the World Bank delegation is to exchange views on the implementation of the Digital CASA project, that's  aimed at the development of the regional trade and integration, increasing the country's competitiveness on the world stage and conducting a comprehensive assessment of the smart city.

Also during the meeting parties exchanged views on the development of Medium-Term Program for Development of Digital Economy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate in these areas.
