Celebration of the International holiday Nowruz at the Ministry of Economic development and Trade

 

   Today, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade hosted a solemn event to celebrate the International Holiday Nowruz, in which participated the leadership and the employees of the central administration.

 

   At the outset, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zavqizoda  Zavqi Amin, warmly congratulated all staff on the International Holiday Nowruz, recalling the words of Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon: “One of Nowruz’s most valuable traditions is that people will keep their homes, household items and clothing clean, and that they will cleanse their hearts and minds from hatred, hostility, violence, and that they will accept each other openly and joyfully”.

   It was also noted that due to the efforts of the Leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon, the celebration of Nowruz was approved by the UN General Assembly resolution as «World Day of Nowruz». Such a far-sighted and wise initiative of the Leader of the nation during the clash of cultures played a valuable role in enhancing the national identity and recognition of the Tajik nation in the international arena as a civilized nation.

   During the event, a number of staff members of the Central Administration made speeches in a festive mood in honor of Nowruz and the spring, thanking for the atmosphere of independence of the country.

   Nowruz Holiday is celebrated annually by the Ministry with its special solemnity.
