Opening of 4 new enterprises in the free economic zone “Dangara”

On April 14, 2021, in order to fulfill the instructions and assignments of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on personnel matters Rahmon Asadullo, Chairman of Khatlon region Qurbon Hakimzoda and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin in the free economic zone “Dangara” solemnly opened 4 production enterprises: LLC “Ghayursanoat”, LLC “Aufen”, LLC “Tojplast-1” and LLC “Shanxi”.

“Ghayursanoat” LLC was built and commissioned with domestic investments in the amount of 26 million somoni with 30 regular jobs. The company produces more than 20 types of competitive and high-quality products that meet international standards, in particular, 4 types of emulsion paints, 3 types of synthetic paints, 4 types of paints, 6 types of decorative plasters, calcium (marble pieces) and plastic buckets and metallic boxes for their own needs.

The production capacity of the enterprise is 13.5 thousand tons of products. In particular, 25 tons of emulsion paint, 10 tons of synthetic paint, 5 tons of paint, 10 tons of decorative plaster, 20 tons of calcite, 1000 metallic boxes and 600 plastic buckets are produced per day. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, the company produced products worth more than 217 thousand somoni.

The production company “Aufen” LLC for metal processing and metal constructions built enterprises on an area of 4 hectares of land in FEZ “Dangara” with investments of the People’s Republic of China in the amount of 15 million US dollars. The annual production volume of the enterprise in accordance with the business plan is processing of 120,000 tons of metal, which provides to the creation of 82 jobs, and is expected to raise it up to 200 people.

The volume of production in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to more than 1.5 million somoni. The company's products are of high quality that meets international standards, and is aimed at meeting the needs of the domestic market and exporting to the countries of the region, including Afghanistan and Russia.

Shanxi Central Asian Coal Chemical, Construction and Investment Company was built and put into operation with the attraction of 22.8 million$ US by investors from the People's Republic of China. Its activities are aimed at the construction of a 220/35/10 kW substation, two 220 kV transmission lines from Shar-Shar substation and the Sangtuda-1 hydroelectric power station and supplying industrial enterprises in the free economic zone and Dangara district. The enterprise was built on a plot of land with an area of 2 hectares with 30 jobs and a production capacity of 250 MW, and the volume of services provided in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to more than 600 thousand somoni.

The production enterprise “Tojplast-1” LLC was established for the production of polyethylene pipes on an area of 1 hectare of land with the attraction of national investments in the amount of 12.4 million somoni. The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 50 thousand meters of various polyethylene pipes with a diameter of 16 mm to 500 mm and the enterprise supplies 10 regular jobs. The volume of production for the first quarter of 2021 amounted to 4.5 million somoni and due to its high competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets, it is sold both domestically and abroad.

It should be noted that today in the free economic zone “Dangara” 26 domestic and foreign companies are registered as entities, of which 13 enterprises are engaged in the production of detergents, seasonal pistachios, metal constructions, processing of concrete, sand and gravel, plastic pipes, construction painting, decorative plaster and synthetic paint and its export, furthermore, 10 enterprises are also preparing to launch.

Since its establishment, the volume of investments in the free economic zone “Dangara” has amounted to 1.8 billion somoni, and during this period its production enterprises have produced goods worth 125 million somoni. In general, since the beginning of its activity, the number of regular jobs in the free economic zone “Dangara” has reached 365 people.

At the same time, the administration of the free economic zone covered 1,600 meters of internal roads with asphalt, and the total area of asphalted internal roads reached 3,400 meters.

During the opening of these enterprises, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qohir Rasulzoda, gave appropriate instructions to the responsible individuals to create new enterprises, increase production and export of goods to foreign and domestic markets.
