Wrap-up session of the socio-economic development of Panj district for the first half of 2021 and tasks for the second half of 2021 under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin.

In order to implement the recommendations and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity- Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the government of the country, under the leadership of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Z. A. a wrap-up session was held in the Panj district on the results of the socio-economic development of the district for the first half of 2021 and the tasks for the second half of 2021.

In the session, the activities of the local executive bodies of the state power of the district, the analysis of the results of the generalization of socio-economic development, the preparations for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the work performed on implementing the decisions of the republican staff for the prevention of the infectious disease of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were considered, and tasks for the second half of 2021 were determined. It was noted that out of 210 holiday facilities planned for this period, construction and repair works of 200 units or 95% of them have been completed and work is underway at the remaining 10 facilities. In particular, at the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the construction of the State Flag and the reconstruction of the recreational and cultural park in the centre of the district are under way. Zavqizoda Z. A. gave relevant instructions to the officials of the executive body of the state authority of Panj district on construction and creative works to hold a high-level celebration of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the effective use of cultivated land, the 3-4 crops assembly, and awareness-raising works continue on compliance with the rules of sanitation and prevention of the spread of coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the full and effective use of the existing potential of the district, the creation of workshops and production facilities, full commissioning of the festive premises, as well as the elimination of shortcomings in the area.
