Assistance of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to those affected by the natural disaster-flood in the Pyanj region

On April 8, 2023, in order to fulfill the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin made a working trip to the Pyanj region.

During the trip, Zavqizoda Z. A. and the chairman of the Pyanj district, Shohiyon Z. F., got acquainted with the process of eliminating damage caused by natural disasters on April 4 of this year, including household lands, dehkan and leased farms, roads and bridges, and also met with the victims, the leadership of the executive body of state power of the district and the heads of law enforcement agencies.

Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that at the direction of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, a permanent headquarters had been established since the onset of this natural disaster and work to eliminate damage from floods was being carried out in all directions.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade provided material assistance in the form of flour, butter, rice, sugar and pasta to 70 affected and poor families.

At the same time, Zavqizoda Z. A. and Shohiyon Z. F., having familiarized themselves with the progress of harvesting early onions from dehkan farms and the construction of festive facilities, gave relevant instructions to responsible persons.
