Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China

On November 2, 2023, within the framework of the 6th meeting of the Sub-Commission of the Tajik-Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China under the Tajik-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo and the Deputy Chairman of the Government of Xinjiang -Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China Ms. Sun Hongmei.

Vosidiyon F. S. noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policies of the leaders of the two countries, the Founder of peace and national unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, the respected Xi Jinping, relations between the two countries are constantly developing and have reached the most high level.

It was noted that as a result of the implementation of the instructions and instructions of the heads of both states and their special attention to strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations, the volume of foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Tajikistan with the People's Republic of China for 9 months of 2023 amounted to 1065 million dollars and compared with the same period in 2022 increased by $100 million or 10.4 percent. China's share in Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover was 20.7% and ranks 2nd.

At the same time, as part of this meeting, the parties visited the museum of the National Library of Tajikistan.

In the end, the parties expressed their readiness to expand further cooperation.
