Participation of the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade in the 7th Istanbul Economic Summit entitled “Sustainable Life and Smart City”
First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade A. A. Solehzoda took part and spoke at the 7th Istanbul Economic Summit, which was held on December 8-9, 2023 in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.
The 7th Istanbul Economic Summit was held under the title “Sustainable Living and Smart City”.
Salehzoda A. A. spoke at the panel “The Path and Future Opportunities of the Industrial Industry” and provided participants with specific information regarding the actions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan towards the development of the industry, including the 4th strategic goal - rapid industrialization of the country and relevant government strategies and programs . At the same time, during the discussions, humanitarian initiatives at the global level of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, on issues of climate change, water and glaciers were considered. It was emphasized that the country is implementing strategic planning documents for the development of the green economy and digital economy.
During the summit, the head of the Tajik delegation, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, invited Turkish and foreign companies to participate in priority investment projects, including in the country's free economic zones.
At the same time, on the sidelines of this event, the country’s delegation met with the heads of the companies “COLUMAN” (assembly and installation of Mercedes trucks in Turkey), “HYDROGENIX” (production of electricity from hydrogen, i.e. hydrogen fuel). electric power industry), "Klaus&Miller" (wind power plant production), "FUZUL" (construction company) and the chairman of the German tourism association "DRV" held a meeting, during which the possibilities of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and investment in the economy of Tajikistan were considered.
