The President of the Islamic Development Bank Group visited the Nurek HPP

On June 12, 2024, the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Al-Jasser, as part of a meeting with the founder of peace and national unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, visited the Nurek hydroelectric power station, during which he was accompanied by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade/Authorized Representative of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) from the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin.

The President of the IDB noted that the people of Tajikistan are proud that the 300-meter-high rock-and-earth dam of the Nurek hydroelectric power station ranks first in the world to this day and has been operating effectively for more than 50 years. After his visit, he left an entry in the guest book.

It should be noted that on June 11, 2024, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Dr. Muhammad Suleiman Al-Jasser.
