The Delegation of Tajikistan Participates in the 34th Meeting of the Interstate Council for Cooperation in Science, Technology, and Innovation of the CIS

On November 6-7, 2024, in Astana, Kazakhstan, a delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Nasriddinzoda Rukhshona Hikmatullo, Member of the Interstate Council for Cooperation in Science, Technology, and Innovation (ISTC), took part in the 34th meeting of the Council.

 

During the meeting, key issues were discussed to strengthen scientific, technical, and innovation collaboration across CIS countries. Head of Tajik delegation presented a report on the current state of the country’s scientific, technological, and innovation sectors, highlighting achievements, challenges, and prospects for further development to bolster the socio-economic stability of the region.

In addition to the Council meeting, on November 7, the delegation participated in the international scientific and practical conference “Innovation Potential of the CIS: Best Practices for Utilizing Scientific and Technical Developments in Real Sectors of the Economy and Social Sphere.” The conference addressed successful examples of integrating innovations into the economies and social sectors of CIS countries.
