Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the EU External Expert, Mr. Panagiotis Leventis

  

On December 2, 2024, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nasriddinzoda Rukhshon Hikmatullo and the member of the EU mission, Mr. Panagiotis Leventis.

At the beginning of the meeting, Nasriddinzoda R. Kh. noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, mutually beneficial cooperation with international partners, including the German Development Bank (KfW), is constantly developing.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the monitoring of the results of the project "Support for the Promotion of Basic Education and Access to WASH Facilities in Rural Areas".

Nasriddinzoda R. Kh. expressed gratitude to Panagiotis Leventis for his active participation and support in the implementation of this project.

This project is being implemented with the support of the European Union, continuing the tradition of German financial cooperation in the field of education, which is being implemented by the German Development Bank (KfW) on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

This project will ensure sustainable improvement of the conditions of activity in rural areas.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for closer cooperation in the field of sustainable economic development and continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation.
