Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Director of the Eurasian Development Bank in the Republic of Tajikistan

  

On December 9, 2024, a meeting was held in the Republic of Tajikistan between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and the Director of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Vladimir Nikolaevich Yakunin.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zavqizoda Z. A., as a member of the Council of the Eurasian Development Bank, thanked Yakunin V. V for his active participation in supporting the implementation of priority projects to promote the sustainable economic development of the country.

Along with this, it was proposed to increase the volume of EDB financing for priority projects of the country, in such areas as industry, energy, agriculture, tourism, trade, education, healthcare and digitalization of the national economy, in particular digitalization of trade processes.

The proposals to increase the volume of financing were positively accepted by the Director of the EDB in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop new priority projects in the areas of the national economy, including the creation of a textile cluster and a modern logistics center.
