Meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
On December 26, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.
The meeting first considered the Statistical Work Program for 2025 and the Work Plan of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first half of 2025.
Then, the drafts of the State Program for the Prevention of Domestic Violence in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2030 and the additional agreement to the Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Tojikcement" on the construction and commissioning of enterprises for the production of cement, building and concrete materials and bags dated June 10, 2019 were considered and adopted. The meeting continued with the discussion of issues related to the internal migration of the population from land-poor and densely populated mountainous regions to the valleys with wasteland in the republic in 2025-2029 and the establishment of the "Bahri Tojik" (Tajik Sea) State Nature Reserve, and relevant decisions were made.
At the end of the meeting, instructions and recommendations were given regarding the summary and conclusion of the country's socio-economic development in 2024, smooth holding of the winter season of 2024-2025, providing the population and facilities of various purposes with electricity and heat, the efficient use of electricity and heat and preventing their losses, maintaining road and transport facilities in good working condition, preventing fires and accidents and undesirable actions during the closing days of 2024, granting assistance to orphans, the homeless, the disabled and families in need, and comprehensive preparation for a worthy welcome of the International Day of Navruz and the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence.
