Meeting on the Anti-Corruption Assessment of Normative Legal Acts at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

  

On March 6, 2025, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, attended by Deputy Minister Vosidiyon Farhod Sa'dullo, representatives of the Agency for State Financial Control and the Fight Against Corruption, as well as staff from the central apparatus of the ministry to discuss the implementation of Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Anti-Corruption Expertise of Normative Legal Acts and Draft Normative Legal Acts."

 

It was noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, in his Address to the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, stated that "Corruption is a negative phenomenon and poses a danger to society, and combating it is a primary task of state bodies, civil society institutions, and every citizen of the country."

Furthermore, regarding the agenda, Vosidiyon F.S. emphasized that in accordance with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Anti-Corruption Expertise of Normative Legal Acts" and the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 3, 2014, No. 355 on "The Procedure for Conducting Anti-Corruption Expertise of Normative Legal Acts, Normative Legal Acts of General Mandatory Nature of Ministries, State Committees, Other State Bodies, Local Authorities, and Self-Government Bodies of Cities and Villages and Their Drafts, Internal Assessment of Anti-Corruption Expertise of Draft Normative Legal Acts," a Group for Internal Assessment of Anti-Corruption Expertise of Draft Normative Legal Acts operates within the ministry.

In 2024, the ministry prepared 16 draft normative legal acts to ensure the development of social and economic spheres in the country, which underwent internal assessment for anti-corruption expertise.

During the meeting, representatives from the Agency for State Financial Control and the Fight Against Corruption, namely the Head of the Department for State Expertise of Anti-Corruption Normative Legal Acts — Hikmatzoda Mukhamadali Rajab and Senior Lieutenant of Justice from this Department — Hamidzoda Isroil Ismoil conducted discussions and provided explanatory work with the staff of the central apparatus of the ministry.
