Explanation of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan" in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

  

On March 14, 2025, in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, in order to conduct explanatory and advisory work based on the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan" and the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 30, 2021 No. 268 "On the rules of spelling of the Tajik language and written signs of the Tajik language", as well as the correct use of the spelling rules and signs of the Tajik language when writing and communicating, a working seminar was held in the ministry with the participation of the management, a representative of the Committee on Languages and Terms under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and employees of the central office of the ministry.

At the seminar, Deputy Minister Vosidiyon Farhod Sadullo emphasized the importance of the correct use of written signs and spelling rules of the Tajik language when preparing documents, writing letters, requests and other documents in the ministry.

It was noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, pays special attention to the issue of studying the language and respect for the native language, emphasizing the importance of this issue in his numerous speeches, meetings and conversations. As the Head of State noted in one of his addresses: "Language is one of the sacred treasures of our people, since it is the basis or support of state building and the existence of the Tajik people with a history of more than six thousand years, and will remain so".

At the event, the head of the department for names and regulation of terms of the Committee on Languages and Terms under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan - Zulfoniyon Rahim Rajabzoda gave explanations on the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the state language of the Republic of Tajikistan", explained the rules of spelling of the Tajik language, their correct use in writing, and also spoke about the signs of the Tajik language, answering specific questions from the participants.

At the end of the event, the leadership emphasized that every citizen of the country, especially civil servants, is responsible for maintaining the purity of the state language and passing it on to the next generation.
