Participation of the Delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
From June 18 to 21, 2025, representatives of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the 28th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The delegation included the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sulton Nurmuhammadpur Rahimzoda, and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rukhshona Hikmatullo Nasriddinzoda.
The forum, recognized as one of the largest international events of its kind, brought together participants from more than 140 countries and regions. It served as an important platform for open and constructive dialogue on key issues of the global and regional economy. The focus was on global challenges and opportunities, including the transition to a multipolar world, environmental and climate issues, the rapid development of digital technologies, sustainable development goals, and the modernization of the education system and labor market.
During the forum, the Tajik delegation held a number of meetings with business representatives and partner organizations. These discussions covered prospects for trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the implementation of innovative and digital solutions.
Participation in the forum enabled Tajikistan to highlight its priorities in sustainable development, the strengthening of regional cooperation, and the expansion of partnerships with friendly and brotherly nations.
