The Republic of Tajikistan took part in the international exhibition "EXPO 2025" in Osaka, Japan

In pursuance of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 30, 2024, No. 565, the official delegation of the country headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kholikzoda Hokim Hikmatullo, Minister of Economic Development and Trade - Chairman of the Organizing Committee Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - General Commissioner for the exposition of the country Rajabzoda Haydar, representatives of government agencies and the private sector on June 27, 2025 took part in the International Exhibition "EXPO 2025" and Tajikistan-related events within the framework of the exhibition, including the National Day in Osaka, Japan.

Within the framework of "EXPO 2025", the National Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, which coincided with the National Unity Day, was solemnly and with special scope held with the presentation of the cultural program with the participation of representatives various countries.

The official ceremony of the National Day was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister Kholikzoda H. H. taking into account the global initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, built the Tajikistan Pavilion called "Glaciers and Water Sources - to Save Lives and a Sustainable Future" with a beautiful national design, equipped with modern exposition facilities and 3D virtual glasses.

The Tajikistan Pavilion presented the country's global initiatives to protect glaciers, water resources and climate change, industrial and agricultural products, investment and tourism opportunities, folk crafts, decorative stones, souvenirs and national gifts, as well as advertising materials in the form of booklets, QR codes and electronic bulletins. Videos about the investment and tourism opportunities and achievements of the country were constantly shown.

One of the main products of the Pavilion is a model (layout) of the Vanzhyakh (Fedchenko) glacier, which attracts a lot of attention from visitors.

It is noted that the Vanzhyakh (Fedchenko) glacier is considered the largest glacier in the world land, 77 kilometers long, located at an altitude of 6974 meters above sea level.

Another product that attracts attention is the 3D virtual glasses, with which visitors can look at the beautiful natural landscapes of the country, including the Vanjah (Fedchenko) glacier.

On average, about 25 thousand visitors visit the Tajikistan Pavilion daily, admiring the beauty of Tajikistan's nature, glaciers and water resources of the country, investment and tourism opportunities, taking photos and videos as a keepsake.

According to official data from EXPO 2025, over 9.3 million guests visited the exhibition in the first 76 days alone.

It is expected that by the end of EXPO 2025, more than 28 million people will have visited the exhibition. Tajikistan's participation in the International Exhibition EXPO 2025 is an important step in promoting and presenting opportunities for the development of investment, industry, agriculture, tourism and folk crafts in the international arena.

Also in front of the Tajikistan Pavilion decorative stones, souvenirs and folk crafts, which are in high demand among visitors, were put up for sale.

In addition, on June 25, 2025, the third meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Japan on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in Tokyo, where important issues of developing bilateral cooperation were discussed, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, energy, logistics, digitalization of the economy, labor migration, education and human resources development.

Following the meeting, the Protocol of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Japan on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was signed, which sets out specific measures to further expand cooperation in priority areas.

Within the framework of the International Exhibition "EXPO 2025", the official delegation of the country held meetings with the leadership of a number of ministries, departments and
