Meeting groups according to the results of the UNDAF

On 8 November 2016 in Dushanbe was held a meeting of the Steering Committee of the United Nations Framework Programme (UNDAF) result groups. This meeting was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies, as well as the UN agencies in Tajikistan.

At the beginning of the event Umed Davlatzod – the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade made an opening speech. Then Ms. Lucia Elmi – Acting UN Resident Coordinator, UNICEF Representative in Tajikistan, delivered a presentation on the topic: “The role of sustainable development goals and UNDAF in ensuring the national priorities of Tajikistan”. Moreover, a presentation on the topic "UNDAF – implementation and further steps" was delivered by Mr. Manuchehr Rakhmonov – Head of the UN Resident Representative Office in Tajikistan.

After consideration of the monitoring and evaluation plan, calendar and joint two-year work plan, the participants continued working on six groups of the UNDAF results.
