Meeting of the Minister with Peter Fernandez Cardy

Today at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade was held a meeting between the Minister, Nematullo Khikmatullozoda and the UK Department for International Development (DFID) representative in Central Asia, Mr. Peter Fernandes Cardy.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, during which the parties discussed the goals and priorities of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030. Also, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, industry, hydropower, tourism, implementation of new projects, the private sector support and new areas of investment.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence that cooperation between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and DFID will continue to develop fruitfully.
