Meeting with Mr. Said Ogo

Today in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting of the Deputy Minister, Umed Davlatzod, with the Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank, Mr. Said Ogo.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the goals and priorities of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2030 and the Medium-Term Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period 2016-2020.

The main strategic goals of the Tajik government were also discussed, such as ensuring energy security and efficient use of electricity, breaking the communication deadlock and turning the country into a transit country, ensuring food security and people's access to quality nutrition, and expanding productive employment.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed confidence that the cooperation between the Islamic Development Bank and the Republic of Tajikistan will continue to develop fruitfully.
