Meeting between Zavkizoda Zavki Amin and representatives of the International Rating Agency “Moody’s”

On October 31, 2018, there was a meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavkizoda Zavki Amin, and representatives of the Ministry of Finance with the participation of the International Rating Agency Moody's.

During the meeting, First Deputy Minister Zavkizoda, informed about the current state of the economy, prospects and risks, the main factors and sources of financing growth. It was noted the importance and necessity of analyzing macroeconomic indicators in determining rating scores, in particular, to address the issue of upgrading the rating of the Republic of Tajikistan.

It was also emphasized that in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment on the sustainable development of the economy.

Representatives of the Ministry of Finance informed about investments and investments in this sector.

During the meeting, the sides discussed financial and budgetary issues, in particular, the repayment of public debt.

At the end of the meeting, the First Deputy Minister expressed hope that the International Rating Agency Moody's, as before, will actively support Tajikistan.
