Speech by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mr.Nematullo Hikmatullozoda at the International Forum "Navruz of Dushanbe - the path of cultural and tourist relations"

At the beggining of his speech, the Minister congratulated the participants on the occasion of International Navruz holiday and expressed his gratitude to the executive authorities of Dushanbe for organizing this forum at high level .

In his speech he noted that according to cultural traditions, which has the history of more than six thousand years, during the Navruz celebration perfomance of different ceremonies symbolizes people's belief on  the awakening of the nature and the beginning  of a new life. In particular, the everlasting songs of the first book of humanity "Avesto", which symbolizes the aryan sivilazation.

During the speech, the minister introduced some of the features of Navruz.

One of the main features of Nowruz is to ensure the abundance of products, that is, the preparation of spring crops, and on this basis the preparation of all equipment and machinery, which corresponds to the economic aspects of Nowruz, agriculture, industry and food security.

The setting of the Navruz table, based on folk rituals, is a sample of industrial and agricultural production. The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan ensures food security as one of its strategic goals and takes the necessary measures to achieve it.

Another feature of Nowruz is the creation of a place of residence, the promotion of streets and squares, the construction and restoration of social, industrial and service-oriented facilities, as well as the construction of local roads.

Therefore, at the suggestion of the Leader of the Nation 2019-2021 years were declared as the "Period of Rural Development, Tourism and Falk Craft," which is a good step in preparing for the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Thus, in general, Navruz and its pillars are focused on improving people's lives, a boost to the development of economic activities, which can gradually increase the level of welfare of the population, reflecting the perception of the economic activity of each person.

The minister also highlighted another feature of Navruz as a favorable basis for the development of international relations. It was noted that the proof of this statement was the celebration of Navruz in Central and South Asia, the Middle East and the Caucasus, which created a new term - the number of countries celebrating Nowruz.

At the end of his speech the Minister noted that all these achievements lead to friendship, fraternity, respect, compassion and unity.
