Working tour to Dushanbe
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the opening ceremony of the secondary educational institution No. 6. He was accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.
The school includes three four-storey buildings with 51 classrooms, 38 auxiliary rooms, a cafeteria with a 160-seat capacity, a medical room, 420-square-meter gym with four auxiliary rooms, a conference hall with 380 seats, a basement, and a library equipped with 20 computers and a high-speed Internet line. Teachers' lounges are also equipped with modern computers.
The school is built to accommodate 2400 students in morning and afternoon shifts.
Besides the usual labs and classrooms designated for biology, chemistry and geometry, the school also has a military training room, which was added to improving its students’ military readiness.
Two football fields and volleyball courts were built to promote a healthy lifestyle and participation in sports.
After reviewing the school, President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with its teacher staff and students.
President Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali also visited the Shohmansur district to assess the Dushanbe Flour Mill and gave an official start to its reconstruction.
The Dushanbe Flour Mill encompasses four hectares and will implement modern technologies that meet international standards. With the update, the wheat processing production capacity will reach over 300 tons per day and 110,000 tons per year. Once the mill is reopened it will employ 100 people.
The reconstruction and renewal of the mill will provide the domestic market with flour and will lay the foundation for exporting its products to the neighboring countries, thereby strengthening the diversification of exported domestic products.
While visiting the 10,000-square-meter Park of Culture and Recreation named after Abulqosim Firdavsi, President Emomali Rahmon and Rustam Emomali inaugurated the 1500-seat amphitheater located within it. After assessing the amphitheater, President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the residents of the capital.
