Meeting of the Minister with the head of the representative Office of the International organization for migration in Dushanbe

On October 2, 2019, Minister Nematullo Hikmatullozoda met with the head of the representative Office of the International organization for migration in Dushanbe, Mr. Michael Hewitt, at the Ministry of economic development and trade.

At the beginning of the meeting, Nematullo Hikmatullozoda expressed appreciation on the fruitful cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and UN organizations.

During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, the parties discussed areas of cooperation in the current and next year, including improving the status of migrants, reducing the number of migrants, creating training courses to improve the skills of migrants and providing grants for the business to returning migrants.

 At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation.
