9.6 million euros grants were provided by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany to support entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.
Today, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavkqzoda Zavqi Amin and the Regional Director of the German Development Bank for Central Asia Andreas Schneider signed an agreement on the transfer of funds between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and five local financial institutions "Arvand", MDO Finka", MDO "Humo", MDO "Imon International" and MCO "Oxus".
The program of financing value chains in the agricultural sector is approved at the expense of a grant of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany in the amount of 9.6 million euros under the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on Financial Cooperation for 2016-2017 and agreees with the instructions and recommendations of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon and the fourth strategic goal of the country – accelerated industrialization.
This program is aimed at providing affordable loans to small and medium-sized enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan, which are united in agricultural value chains.
