Meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the Head of the USAID Trade Department in Central Asia (TCA)

On November 17, 2023, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nuriddinzoda Ahliddin Nuriddin and the Head of the USAID Trade Department in Central Asia (TCA) Robert Voatch.

Nuriddinzoda A. N. noted that within the framework of the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, the government of the country attaches great importance to the issue of simplifying trade procedures.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding further cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and USAID on trade facilitation, including updating and improving the Tajikistan Trade Portal website, as well as the provisions of the Coordination Committee on Trade Facilitation.

At the end of the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, the parties expressed their readiness to strengthen and develop cooperation in the noted areas.
