The co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan outlined specific steps for the full implementation of the Protocol of the IGC meeting

On November 22, 2023, in the city of Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan, within the framework of the SPECA Summit, a meeting was held between the Co-Chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Bahadur oglu Babayev.

Zavqizoda Z.A. gratified that thanks to the fraternal, friendly and sincere relations between the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency the respected Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency the respected Ilham Aliyev, today bilateral cooperation is strengthening.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of implementation of the Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan and outlined specific steps for the full implementation of its points.
