Participation and speech of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan at the 11th Asia-Pacific Forum on Trade Facilitation
On April 1, 2024, the 11th Asia-Pacific Forum on Trade Facilitation was held in Samarkand, in which the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nuriddinzoda Ahliddin Nuriddin took part and spoke.
The Forum has more than 250 participants from 30 countries and provides ample opportunities for capacity building and cooperation.
Nuriddinzoda A.N. noted that the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, identified simplification of trade procedures, strengthening of export potential and diversification of exports as priority directions of the economic policy of the country's government in the field of trade, resulting in the direction of simplification trade procedures in the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of significant works were carried out.
In particular, the Coordination Committee for Facilitation of Trade Procedures was created, the Tajik Trade Portal and the “Single Window for Export, Import and Transit Transactions in the Republic of Tajikistan” system were officially put into operation, and several strategic documents related to trade were adopted.
To strengthen trade and economic cooperation in the region, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan invited the parties to take measures to eliminate non-tariff barriers to the transportation of goods and ensure the effective operation of green corridors.
